Superstar Rajni makes a slow but attractive entry in Robot. What happens when a robot starts thinking like a human being? What happens when a robot falls in love with a normal girl? This and more form the basic plot of Robot.
A techno-scientist Dr Vasu (Rajinikanth) has a vision and mission of his own. He wants to create a robot that would be subservient to humans and relieve mankind of its drudgery. He creates a robot Chitti (Rajinikanth again) which does everything the creator bids. Vasu wants to make Chitti to have emotions just like humans and it falls in love with a medico Sana (Aishwarya Rai) who happens to be the romantic interest of Vasu.
Then there is the robotics scientist Dr. Bohra (Danny Denzongpa) who re-prrogrammes Chitti and it develops an independent will and turns into an enemy of humanity. Will Chitti be tamed? Is it worthwhile to create robots running around with free will? These questions are answered in a chiiling and spell-boundiing climax
Performence:
RajiniKanth: Rajini looks as young as he did about three decades ago! performance is so natural with no punch dialogues.
Aishwarya Rai:Aish looking great, acted well, she looks old in some scenes.each frame is a visual treat to enjoy

Danny: Danny Denzongpa can really portray evil like no one else. All others fit their roles.
Highlights:
- The film is a never-seen-before spectacle on screen! People who have already seen the film feel that Robo is just like an Hollywood action flick in terms of quality and content.

- There are no punch dialogues as such, but all the dialogues of superstar are quick, witty and crisp!
- In Robo, Rajni plays a dual role: that of a scientist and a robot. And it looks like the audience are more attracted towards the robot, though it appears only in a few scenes.

The main thing to talk about was the Visuval effects of the film.The film has mind blowing VFX done which reminds you of a hollywood film.This film has Hi-Fi technical values to fulfill the creativity required for the story.Cinematography of the film is to be much appreciated.Regarding the songs of the film Shooting the songs in some breattaking location(Machu pichu,London).Music & Background score by A R Rahman was asusually superb.
Rajani kanth and Aishwarya were apt for their roles.Specially talking about rajanikanth we cant see him not just as a Hero but also as convincing as a vilan.He did a perfect work to prove him once again a SouthIndian Super Star. Totally ROBO is going make records for sure and for Cinema Lovers its a treat to you to watch a film like this on indian Cinema.
